The temperature rises after the fact the damage is already done and you are in recovery mode which means you should shut the computer at once, wait to cool off, and start immediate copy of the most important files, warning, DO NOT ATTEMPT to do whole drive back up after restart, you will lose everything.

You can opt out of these in the "Service Channel", and through your Ashampoo online account. I don't push their software. I have used some of their products for about 15 years now and don't receive any so called Spam.
I have some decent software from Ashampoo. They send frequent offers of programs, but I don't consider it spam and I get plenty of real spam. You can tell from the amount visible in the mail list whether it is something you want to open, so you can usually tell if you want to delete it before opening it.
